Banking Services

To open a bank account, Exchange and Visiting students are required to request a certification letter from the Student Exchange Office, International Affairs, located at A244, 2nd floor, Aditayathorn Building.

  • Passport (original)
  • Certification letter from the Student Exchange Office (Processing time: 5 working days)
  • MUIC Student ID card
  • Valid student visa (Non-Immigrant ED)
  • Thai phone number (required to register for mobile banking)
  • Initial deposit (500–1,000 THB for a savings account)

Note: This procedure applies only at the Siam Commercial Bank branch on campus. On-campus ATM stations are available in the lobby of MUIC Building 1 and on the 1st floor of the Aditayathorn Building, among other locations. ATM withdrawals limit: 20,000 Baht per day.
